Our Associate Web Developers AccuWeb approached us to collaborate with them on a new website. Activities to Share also needed their whole brand updated to help them better connect with their audience and to ensure their customers had a more consistent brand experience across all platforms.
The main touch points of their brand was their logo, website and product catalogue so we worked with them to ensure these were fully redesigned to reflect their needs and the needs of their customers. The logo needed to be simple, gentle, friendly and approachable and to work well across a variety of platforms including social media. They wanted it to focus more on the practical traditional learning and gaming side of the products rather than the sharing or care side, but it also had to invoke feelings of sharing and being engaged and connected with others through activity products.
We redesigned their logo so it was more modern and better reflected these core values and needs. A bright but muted colour palette was used to give a sense of fun and inspiration. A butterfly jigsaw puzzle icon was used to give a feeling of the activities providing a new lease of life and helping people achieve a sense of freedom.
A new responsive ecommerce website was set-up to reflect the new brand look and feel and to ensure it worked on tablet and mobile. A NopCommerce template was simply adapted in order to save costs.
Lastly, their printed catalogue, which is mailed out to over 25,000 providers of care in the UK biannually, was refreshed to tie in with the new logo and website. A catalogue template was provided for Activities to Share's in-house staff and typesetter to easily add and edit all product content for each catalogue on an ongoing basis as needed.
